Euro-coins from Cyprus


Coins of € 1 and € 2 is depicted krastoviden image of the Chalcolithic Age (3000 BC). This typical pattern of prastoricheskoto art reflects the location of the island of Cyprus in the heart of civilization and antiquity.

Coins of 10, 20 and 50 cents a ship is represented by Kire-trade vessel from the fourth century BC, a symbol of the maritime history of Cyprus and the island's importance as a trading center.


Coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents is depicted moufflon wild-type sheep, widespread in Cyprus, the representative of the animal world of the island.



Euro coins from Malta


Coins of € 1 and € 2 is represented by the emblem of the sovereign Order of Malta. During the administration of the Order of Malta (1530-1798 years) with eight top cross became the symbol of the island, nowadays often called the "Maltese Cross".
